I've always drawn in color,

I didn't add any color this time.

The cat is looking out the window.

A vase was placed behind it.

Tulips are arranged in a vase.

This painting was originally a charcoal sketch drawn with the intention of adding color.

When coloring each element individually, such as cats, tulips, windows, etc.

It's depicted like a signal to get a feeling.

Therefore, there is no relationship between the individual shadows, as is the case with ordinary charcoal drawings.

I had finished drawing the charcoal sketch, and was about to add color when...

I realized that I was capturing a mysterious space using only charcoal lines.

The completeness of a painting lies in its incompleteness and imperfection.

So I decided not to add any color.
