Koko, a Somali cat.
She was the goddess of my paintings.
Koko, who came from the Big Island of Hawaii, is a long-haired Abyssinian, a breed said to be the origin of cats.
That's why its tail was so bushy, just like a fox's.
Somali cats are friendly and intelligent.
Koko must have understood human language.
When they are kittens, they meow like the sound of a bell and sometimes show a mischievous look on their face.
I tried drawing Somali and Shirayuri, two kittens.
