Nowadays, souvenir shops line the street, but where I am standing today, there used to be the residences of the people who accompanied Princess Tamahime when she was three years old and married into the Tokugawa family.

They must have seen the pristine white Kanazawa Castle surrounded by a blue sky and vibrant trees, just like I did.
