Nonoichi Central Park is the largest comprehensive park in Nonoichi City.

It is also known as a famous spot for camellias, and has a playground for children, as well as excellent sports facilities including a baseball field, tennis courts, gymnasium, and jogging course.

When I tried to paint that park, a style reminiscent of Cézanne somehow emerged.

It's a strange picture, as if the grass, trees, and sky are all spinning around without ever stopping.

The wind is blowing.

In his later years, Cézanne would carry his easel and go out to paint almost every day.

He continued to paint without any interest in making money from his art or gaining fame. I think he simply wanted to see something emerge on the canvas.

Cézanne finished painting and, on his way home, suddenly collapsed on the side of the road and passed away.

I want to embark on a journey like that too.

I believe that paintings are born from solitude.

And loneliness is connected to love.

Only then does love begin to spread in the hearts of those who view the paintings.
