Nonoichi City Hall is, of course, a city hall.

Normally, not many people would think of drawing a city hall.

Or rather, I wonder if anyone has ever drawn a picture of this "Nonoichi City Hall" before?

It's sometimes difficult to translate into a picture. Though, as an illustration, that's a different matter.

Because I don't usually draw in the conventional way, I'm actually quite good at drawing things that aren't typically considered pictures.

First, let's consider the vertical format. Normally, a horizontal format captures the entire building, but with a vertical format, framing and composition become extremely difficult. However, this also contributes to the strength and impact of the image.

The vermilion tiles on the building are actually more of a maroon color, but I don't cling to that color.

Because in order for a painting to create its own unique space, it must find what it needs.

The finished painting of the city hall became a powerful space, radiating a fiery energy.
