Just past the Kotoji Lantern in Kenrokuen Garden, behind it, is an observation deck offering a panoramic view of Kanazawa. If you were to walk around Kenrokuen Garden trying to sketch the view, you would stop and exclaim, "Ah! This is it!" at this spot marked by a wooden sign that reads "Observation Deck."

This is the view from the left side. You can see the sea far in the distance, and in the foreground, the cityscape of Kanazawa with its towering buildings. I tried to depict it in a modern style, almost like a scene from a foreign country.
