 The "Ishikawa Prefectural Government Memorial Shiinoki Guest House" is a renovated former Ishikawa Prefectural Government building, a brick structure built during the Taisho era.

 I drew the front side of it.

 In front of the building stand two towering trees, the "Dogata Shiinoki," a national natural monument said to be approximately 300 years old. The trees were named after the fact that this area was called Dogata during the Kaga Domain period.

 Stepping inside, you're enveloped in a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the Taisho era.

 The deep brown wood of the building seems to slowly exhale the air of that time, as if time itself is passing by.

 I drew the lines with a pen and finished it with Sennelier watercolors and oil pastels.

 I believe the brick building style originated in Europe, but the art materials of the French artist Sennelier, who was also favored by Matisse and Cézanne, suit it very well.
