The circular building of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, is surrounded by grass and features various sculptures.

Among them, the "Maru" (circle), which is made up of 16 hemispheres coming together to form a single sphere on the city hall side, is particularly popular.

The scenery reflected in the hemispherical mirror looks as if the world has split into many separate parts.

Wanting to confirm whether they were truly in that mysterious world, everyone leaned closer and peered inside.

"Ah, there it is! There it is!" she exclaimed, holding up her smartphone and taking a picture.

This painting was created using only Sennelier oil pastels.

As I gazed at the scenery reflected in the mirror, the grass and the sky began to spin around.
