Higashi Chaya District is a streetscape that retains the atmosphere of the Edo period and is representative of Kanazawa. With cafes, Japanese confectionery shops, and craft shops lining the streets, it's a very popular spot for tourists. I quickly sketched the buildings and other details to focus on the woman in a kimono walking with a red parasol. This is a picture I imagined.
