At the end of Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki, you'll find Kapiolani Park, covered in large trees, shade, and greenery. And right next to it is the Honolulu Zoo.

Looking up, Diamond Head is right before my eyes. This painting depicts Diamond Head in green, but I think Diamond Head in seasons when its bare leaves are also beautiful. When I first started painting, I used to write songs while playing a pre-war Martin guitar that had been sleeping in the warehouse of the Harley Music Store in Kaimuki.
