Located in the bustling city of Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, with its overwhelming presence, recreates the atmosphere of the Hawaiian monarchy era. It is known as the "Pink Palace of the Pacific." I have painted this Pink Palace many times. In the Kiyoshi Collection at Jams World, paintings of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel were made into shirts and dresses, and were also sold in the hotel's gift shop.

When painting, composition and angle are crucial, but in my paintings of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, I always used this upward-looking angle. And I was captivated by the elegant pink color.
